This policy covers www.shrimediatraffic.com and the services Shri Media Traffic provides — SEO, PPC, content marketing, social media, web development, and the consulting that goes along with all of that. It's here to explain, in plain terms, what we collect from you, why, and what say you have in the matter.
Using this site or working with us as a client means you're agreeing to what's laid out below. If something here doesn't sit right with you, the simplest option is not to share personal information with us — though realistically, that makes it hard for us to help you.
What We Collect
Directly from you: When you fill out a contact form, request a callback, or book a consultation, we get your name, email, phone number, and whatever company details you include. If you go on to become a client, onboarding usually involves more — business goals, website access, ad account credentials, the operational stuff needed to actually run a campaign. And of course, anything you send us over email or WhatsApp is information we now have too.
Automatically, just from you being on the site: IP address, browser and device details, rough location, which pages you looked at, how long you stayed, where you came from, and cookies (more on those below).
We're not in the business of collecting sensitive data — bank details, health records, ID numbers — through this website, and we don't ask for it here. Occasionally, depending on the client's industry (BFSI and healthcare clients come up more than most), a project might involve that kind of data. When it does, it's handled under a separate data processing agreement, not this policy.
What We Do With It
Mainly, we use your information to:
- Answer whatever you've reached out about.
- Run and report on the campaigns we're managing for you.
- Understand how people actually use the site so we can improve it.
- Send you updates or marketing emails — but only if you've opted in, and unsubscribing is always one click away.
- Meet whatever legal or accounting obligations apply to us.
We don't sell your data. We also don't take campaign data — your ad accounts, analytics, keyword research — and repurpose it for anything beyond your own campaigns. That should go without saying, but it's worth saying anyway.
Cookies
We use cookies for a few different reasons: some keep the site working properly, some (like Google Analytics) help us understand traffic patterns, and some support advertising — Google Ads and Meta Pixel, mainly, which let us measure our own campaigns and occasionally retarget people who've already shown interest in what we do.
Your browser settings let you block or limit cookies whenever you want. Just know that turning some of them off can affect how parts of the site behave.
The Third-Party Tools We Rely On
Running a website and an agency means depending on a handful of outside platforms — Google Analytics and Tag Manager for site data, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads for advertising, plus CRM and email tools for managing client communication, and standard hosting infrastructure behind all of it.
Each of these has its own privacy policy. If you want the specifics on how any of them individually handle data, that's the place to look.
When We Share Information
There are a few specific situations where information leaves our hands:
- With the service providers above, only as much as needed to keep the site and our operations running.
- With regulators or authorities, if we're legally required to hand something over.
- With a successor company, in the unlikely event Shri Media Traffic is acquired or merged — you'd be told if that changed anything about how your data's handled.
- With anyone else, only if you've specifically told us it's fine.
How Long We Keep It
We hold onto personal information for as long as it's actually needed — to answer your inquiry, run your campaigns, or satisfy legal and accounting requirements. Once a client engagement wraps up, we typically keep campaign data around for a reasonable stretch afterward (mostly for reporting purposes), then delete or anonymize it.
Keeping It Secure
We take reasonable precautions — access controls, secure storage, the usual practices — to protect what we hold. Nothing online is completely bulletproof, though, and we won't pretend otherwise. If you ever suspect something's gone wrong with your data while working with us, email us right away.
Your Rights
Depending on where you're based, you likely have rights over your own data — the ability to see what we hold, correct it if it's wrong, ask us to delete it (within the limits of any legal or contractual obligations we have), pull back consent for marketing at any point, or object to certain kinds of processing.
- If you're in India, these rights come from the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- If you're in the EU, EEA, or UK, GDPR applies — which also gives you data portability rights and the ability to file a complaint with your local data protection authority if you're unhappy with how something's handled.
- If you're in California, CPRA/CCPA covers you — including the right to know what's collected and to opt out of any sale of it. We don't sell data in the first place, but you're still entitled to ask.
However this reaches you, the way to act on any of it is the same: email info@shrimediatraffic.com and we'll get back to you.
Moving Data Across Borders
Since we work with people and businesses outside India now, information we collect sometimes gets processed in India or in whichever country our service providers operate from. We try to make sure any of that movement lines up with the relevant data protection laws.
About Younger Users
This site and our services are built for businesses and professionals, not minors. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we ever find out we accidentally have, we'll delete it without delay.
If This Policy Changes
We'll update this page as our practices, services, or the law around us shifts. The date at the top will always tell you when that last happened, and if a change is significant enough to matter, we'll flag it more visibly on the site.
